Screenwriting
A picture says a thousand words.
A film says a billion.
MASKS
A silent short film
In a colorful world where people express themselves with personalized masks, a young man struggles with his identity amidst a quarantine.
In developing this project, co-writer and star Danraj Rajasansi and I delved into the complexities of expressing oneself to the outside world.
When we came up with the concept of MASKS in 2021, less than a full year into the pandemic, I began to see how strong the metaphor was stood on its own.
I knew then that it needed to be a silent film.

Traffic
These scripts are from an original web-series concept. Each episode would consist of 3-5 vignettes, connected only by their physical proximity to one another.
sonder [son-der], noun:
1. the feeling one has on realizing that every other individual one sees has a life as full and real as one’s own
Have you been stuck in traffic, tired and irritated, when you suddenly notice the person in the car beside you? You see a glimpse of another life, if only for a moment.

Inner Voices
A budding psychotherapist begins her first session with a young man who is plagued by voices in his head. When the voices aren't what she expected, both she and the patient must shift their understandings of the situation.
My debut short film as writer/director.
I love blending styles, and fusing reality with the absurd.
In this short, I comment on the internal dilemma of accepting strange circumstances by pitting both Matthew and Dr. French against a force that is beyond both of their understandings.
